Team away days British Council

HVM is assisting The British Council’s Cultural Skills Unit for the second year in designing and facilitating an effective team building process for its team away days in January 2017. Under the banner to Do Less Better, HVM will work with the Cultural Skills team and other British Council colleagues to achieve greater clarity on the team’s position and priorities in the light of its new two year strategy and the British Council’s overall Arts Strategy.

HVM’s process design will include activities which will equip the team with a shared view on: opportunities and ways to do less with better impact; common ground and joint priorities with non-Cultural Skills colleagues; and an action plan for implementation of the new approach.

The intended outcomes of the process are, that the team will:

• Be inspired to Do Less Better and have a clear consensus around how to achieve greater impact
• Feel joint ownership of the direction of travel
• Will be inspired to work together and collaborate better
