Publication of the Spectrum 10K Consultation Phase 2 report
Today the Co-Leads of the Spectrum 10K Consultation Hopkins Van Mil (HVM), Leneh Buckle and Spectrum 10K publish the Phase 2 Consultation report.
Background
The Spectrum 10K Consultation is running in three phases:
111 people (85% autistic) worked on the Phase 2 co-design. The people who took part in this co-design phase are described as ‘co-designers’.
Co-designers attended workshops, shared their opinions in an online space, or in one-to-one interviews. The report about the results of these activities was produced in three steps:
Hopkins Van Mil and Leneh Buckle prepared a draft
The draft was reviewed by the Spectrum 10K research team, and their comments have been integrated into the report.
The report was then shared with co-designers, and the comments received have also been integrated into the final report.
About the report
The report summarises what was said about how to design an effective consultation for Spectrum 10K. It doesn’t include every comment or point from everyone who contributed, but it was written to include the most important things.
The report is available in two versions. Click on the links below to view and download the pdf documents:

What happens next:
The Co-leads are now beginning work on the detail of the Phase 3 consultation based on phase 2 feedback.
The consultation will run from January to March 2023. From April onwards, a working group of mainly autistic people will work with the Co-Leads to co-produce the changes and improvements to Spectrum 10K.
