Improving Lives: the Work, Health and Disability Green Paper

HVM recently co-designed and facilitated a roundtable discussion on Improving Lives: the Work, Health and Disability Green Paper. The session brought together academics working in the area of disability and health to share current research and evidence about disabled benefit claimants and those with health conditions. The purpose of the discussion was to focus specifically on two areas within the Green Paper:
•    Supporting people into work
•    Assessments for benefits for people with health conditions

The roundtable was co-ordinated by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the content discussed presented by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The discussion findings will be submitted as part of the consultation on the Green Paper - which closes at 11:45pm this evening - so you still just have time to submit your views!
